The new owners of Pottawattamie Resort have many dreams of what the future Pottawattamie might look like. At the heart of their plans is the firm belief that Pottawattamie remain a safe, environmentally-friendly, family resort. Owning personal property in the Pottawattamie area, they are fully invested in making Pottawattamie into a vacation getaway that their children—and eventually their children's children—can enjoy.

Slated for 2007 is the implementation of a "Beach Taxi", a resort-provided service to assist guests in transportation to and from the beach area. A sand volleyball and basketball court are hoped to be underway, as well as an improved commons area for family picnics and get-togethers. The demolition of some older structures, ongoing unit renovations, and construction of additional rental units are planned, keeping in theme with restoring and preserving the beauty of this natural resort area.
