While Pottawattamie Resort will remain one of the great rustic playgrounds in southwestern Michigan, since changing hands in 2006, Pottawattamie has begun undergoing a number of renovations designed to enhance our guest experience.

The most noted improvement has been the installation of a new paver walking/golf cart path for easier beach access. Previously, visitors to Pottawattamie had to rely on a wooden staircase that only the most energetic of visitors might have enjoyed. The addition of the hard surface pathway will make it easier for guests of all ages to enjoy the beautiful beach view of Lake Michigan.

Property improvements have also begun! Many of the bluff and poolside rental units have been upgraded and updated, while plantings and scenic stonework can be seen making its way around the resort.

The resort still boasts a great outdoor pool and picnic areas for warm summer days, and fire pits—for those cooler Pottawattamie nights.
